Our Mission
The Rose Petal Foundation was founded in 1999 by Buck and Lynn Rae Lowe with a dream—to build a world where imagination and creativity aren’t luxuries, but lifelines.
From supporting artists to strengthening communities through the arts, we believe creativity changes lives. Art is more than beauty; It's belonging. It's voice. It's survival.
That's why in 2022 we launched the Imagination Initiative, our direct grants program that invests in emerging artists who are ready to shape their futures - and ours - with boldness and heart.
Our Founder
Lynn Rae Lowe is an award-winning artist, educator, and lifelong creative visionary whose work bridges art, spirituality, and community impact.
The belief that art should be available to everyone led Lynn Rae and her late husband, Buck, to found the Rose Petal Foundation—an organization rooted in imagination, compassion, and community impact.
Imagination Initiative
The world is missing imagination.
The Imagination Initiative exists to reignite it.
As a core program of the Rose Petal Foundation, the Imagination Initiative provides direct support to emerging artists.
The Imagination Initiative offers the instruction, resources, and inspiration needed to imagine and create a better future.
Rose Pedal Bike Library
The Rose Pedal Bike Library is a community-driven program designed to connect creativity, movement, and exploration.
Through shared access to bicycles, mural tours, and creative experiences, this program encourages people to engage with their communities in new and imaginative ways.
